1.Description
The FM25Q08 is a 8M-bit (1024K-byte)Serial Flashmemory,withadvancedwriteprotection
mechanisms. The FM25og8a..write .. protectionSenial Peripheral Inter face (SPl),DuaVQuad IO as
well as 2-clock instructioncyde Quad Peripherallnterface (QPI).They are ideal for code shadowing toRAM,executing code directly from DuaVQuad SPlIP) and storing voice, text and data.
The FM25Q08 can be programmed 1 to 256 bytesat a time, using the Page Program instruction. It is
designed to allow either singie Sector/ Block at a
time or fullchip eraseeosegte sectorlBlock at acan be configured to protect part of the memory as
the software Drotecteotect part of the memory assustain a minimum of 100K programlerase cycles on
each sector or block.
